Laura Merrifield Wilson: 2020 Election and a Little Football

Laura Merrifield Wilson’s fear after the “dumpster fire” first presidential debate is that those not fully engaged already will be “turned off from politics.” She shares, in her view, the one state to watch most closely on election night as well as whether the “crumbling of the blue wall” that took place in 2016 will continue. The University of Indianapolis political science professor dives into congressional and state races also, sharing her nonpartisan analysis on population trends, moderates running for governor in a polarized society, the engagement of college students and much more.
