Amicia Ramsey is a co-host of Life.Style.Live! and she brings more than eight years of television and print journalism experience to the show.

Before joining WISH-TV, her broadcast career led her across the country from sunny California covering a wide range of stories from wildfires to DACA and immigration. She then went to Memphis, Tenn., covering the coronavirus pandemic, protest, and police reform following the death of George Floyd.

Her charismatic and down-to-earth personality has also helped her leverage interviews with celebrities, musicians, professional athletes, politicians, faith leaders, to everyday people. Amicia’s ability to shoot, write and edit skills has allowed her to remain competitive in the ever-changing television broadcast industry.

She hit the national stage as co-host and guest panelist of the Roland Martin Unfiltered Daily Digital Show streamed with a live audience in Chicago. She is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists and is active with the local chapter in Indianapolis. Some of her professional accomplishments included an first place award for breaking news with The Associated Press, and Meridian Star “Readers Choice” acknowledged her as the 2017 Best TV Personality.

Amicia was born in St. Louis and raised in O’Fallon, Ill.. Her parents are both pastors in her hometown in Southern Illinois. She’s also a graduate of the University of Missouri- Columbia where she achieved a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies concentrating in communications, journalism, and black studies.
