GLORIA JIMENEZ

Gloria Jimenez is a dynamic and accomplished professional with a rich multicultural background. Originally from Peru, Gloria moved to the United States in 2002 and spent a decade in Los Angeles, where she excelled as the Director of Marketing at LA Center.

In 2013, Gloria made the exciting decision to relocate to Indianapolis, where she quickly established herself as a valuable asset to the city. She worked diligently at the City of Indianapolis and played a pivotal role as the Executive Director of the Indiana Latino Expo. Additionally, Gloria co-founded the Axis Leadership program in collaboration with the City of Indianapolis, demonstrating her commitment to empowering others.

Gloria’s dedication to her community extends beyond her professional endeavors. She actively serves on various boards, including the Indiana 4H Foundation, WFYI, NPR and PBS, Dress for Success, LISC, and various health, education, and racial equity committees. Her passion for making a positive impact is also showcased through her involvement in the local media. Gloria has a small segment on Community Link at WISH-TV and hosts De Todo Un Poco on Telemundo Indy Channel 19.

Gloria’s exceptional contributions have not gone unnoticed. She has been the recipient of numerous prestigious awards and recognitions, including the Freedom Award from the Civil Rights Commission and the Indy Eleven award “Campeones de la comunidad” Community Champions Award. She was also honored with the Althea Bertha Torres Award from SADCO, among many others.

When she’s not working tirelessly to make a difference, Gloria cherishes quality time with her daughter, Andrea, and her beloved Jack Russell, “Boró.” In her leisure moments, Gloria indulges in her passion for fashion, beauty, and makeup.
