Mixologist Brett W. Butler, owner of ALCOMY LLC., is helping us get into the spring spirit with these beautiful cocktails!
You can get a taste of his wonderful work on Saturday, April 30 at the Bev Hartig Huntington’s Disease Foundation fundraiser. He is partnering with them to provide the VIP Experience for the evening and his service will be available as an auction item.
Here are the recipes from today’s cocktails:
“The Bevertini”

(named in honor of Bev Hartig and the Huntington Disease Foundation)
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Vodka
- 0.5 oz. Dry Curacao
- 0.5 oz. St. Germain Elderflower liqueur
- 1 oz. Cranberry-Mandarin-Vanilla elixir
- 0.5 oz. Fresh lemon juice
- Bsp Cranberry jam soaked in Luxardo maraschino liqueur
- Bsp Artisano’s Cranberry Pear Balsamic Vinegar
- 3 Sprigs Fresh rosemary
Directions:
Muddle the rosemary, cranberry jam and lemon juice.
Add the rest of the ingredients and ice.
Shake vigorously for about 20 seconds, and double-strain into a coupe glass.
Garnish with smoked rosemary and dehydrated mandarin.
“Butterfly Kisses”

Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz. Lavender infused Aviation gin
- 1 oz. Hard Truth Hills toasted coconut rum
- 5 oz. Marie Brizard Parfait Amour
- 1 oz. Butterfly Pea Flower tea
- 1 oz. Ruby Grapefruit juice
- 0.5 oz. Fresh lemon juice
- 2 dashes Orange bitters
- 2 dashes Grapefruit bitters
Directions:
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice.
Shake vigorously for about 20 seconds until well chilled.
Stain over ice into a large Collins glass.
Garnish with an orchid and fresh lavender.

These St. Patrick’s Day inspired cocktails are the perfect way to bring in the holiday! Brett W. Butler, mixologist and owner of Alcomy LLC, joined us today to demonstrate how to mix up these tasty drinks that are pure art in a class.
Emerald Isle

Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Irish Drumshanbo Gunpowder Gin
- .5 oz. St. Germaine Elderflower liqueur
- 1 oz. Honey Ginger syrup
- .75 oz. fresh squeezed lime juice
- 1 oz. Cucumber juice, or muddled cucumber
- 3 sprigs fresh mint
Directions:

Muddle mint with honey, ginger syrup and lime juice. Add the rest of the ingredients with ice, shake vigorously for 20 seconds, and double strain over ice in a Collins or double-rocks glass. Garnish with a potato chip and fresh microgreens.
Finnegan’s Wake

Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Jameson Stout Edition Irish whiskey
- .75 oz. Hard Truth Hills Bourbon Cream
- 1.5 oz. Starbucks Nitro Cold Brew, or espresso
- 1 oz. Alcomy Old Fashioned elixir (vanilla, cinnamon, maple)
- Bsp Circle City Sweets Cherry “Old Fashioned” Jam
- Float of Guinness Stout
Directions:
Combine all the ingredients except for the Guinness in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously for 20 seconds and strain over ice in a brandy snifter or a double-rocked glass. Float Guinness Stout over the top. Garnish with fresh grated nutmeg and cocoa nibs. Slante!

Be My Valenthyme

This is a berry-licious blend of Aviation gin, fresh strawberries, thyme, lemon, elderflower and pineapple white balsamic.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Aviation Gin
- 5 oz. St. Germain Elderflower liqueur
- 5 oz. fresh lemon juice
- 3-4 fresh strawberries, quartered
- 3 sprigs fresh thyme
- 1 bsp Artisano’s pineapple white balsamic vinegar
- 1 egg white
Directions:
Mix all ingredients in a cocktail shaker or mixing tin.
Dry shake to thoroughly emulsify all ingredients.
Add ice, and wet shake for 20 seconds until well chilled.
Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with fresh thyme and strawberry.
Mighty Aphrodite

This is a seductive sensory experience with Rum, Luxardo Maraschino liqueur, pineapple, mandarin, house made grenadine and smoked lavender.
Ingredients:
2 oz. Plantation 3 Stars Rum
2 oz. Pineapple Juice
1 oz. Mandarin Juice
1 bsp Luxardo Maraschino liqueur
2 bsp Housemade grenadine
Directions:
Combine all ingredients with ice in a mixing tin or Boston shaker. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds until completely emulsified and chilled. Smoke a coupe or martini glass with dried lavender. Strain into glass and garnish with a Lizardo cherry sword and/or wild orchid.

If you want to make one for yourself, you can purchase his Old Fashioned Mix at the Carmel Winter Farmer’s Market every Saturday through March from 9 a.m. to Noon.
Spiked Apple Cider Snow Cone
Ingredients:
- 1 oz. Laird’s Applejack Brandy
- 1 oz. Knob Creek Smoked Maple Bourbon
- .5 oz. St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram
- .5 oz. Alcomy Old Fashioned Elixir
- .5 oz. Lemon Juice
- 2 dashes Black Walnut Bitters
- 3 sprigs Fresh Rosemary
Directions:
Gently slap rosemary to “wake up” the aromatics and essential oils before placing them in your mixing tin or shaker.
Add ice and the rest of the ingredients.
Shake vigorously for 20-25 seconds until well chilled.
Strain into a large martini glass.
Add fresh snow and sip straws.
The snowman garnish is optional.

Feng Shui is not only the perfect way to make sure your house is in balance, but it’s also a cocktail that Brett Butler, Alcomy Life LLC. mixologist, made today that he says is, “a harmonious balance of sweet, sour and spice, with vodka, lychee, honey, ginger, lemongrass, Thai basil, grapefruit and Thai chile.”
Feng Shui

Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Vodka
- 1 oz. Grapefruit liqueur
- 1 oz. Honey Ginger Lemongrass Thai Chile elixir
- 2 Lychees
- 2-3 Thai Basil leaves
- 1/2 oz. Lemon juice
Directions:
Muddle the lychees, Thai basil and lemon juice until thoroughly mashed. Add the rest of the ingredients and ice. Shake vigorously for 20 seconds until well mixed and chilled. Stain into a coupe glass and garnish with a lychee.
“Alcomy Booster Shot,” with Blueberry-Acai probiotic drink, Pom juice, cashew milk liquid blueberry yogurt, Chia seed-infused Aloe juice, blueberry lavender ginger elixir, lemon, basil and bee pollen.

Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Blueberry-Acai probiotic drink
- 1 oz. Pomegranate juice
- 1 oz. Alcomy blueberry lavender ginger elixir
- 1.5 oz. Liquid cashew milk blueberry yogurt
- .75 oz. Chia seed infused Aloe juice
- squeeze of lemon wedge
- 2 fresh Basil leaves
Directions:
Muddle the fresh basil with a lemon wedge to extract a fine pulp, then add all the rest of the ingredients. Add ice and shake vigorously for about 30 seconds until mixed and chilled thoroughly. Strain into a large shot glass or small rocks glass rimmed with honey and bee pollen. Bottoms up!

“Holly Berry”
- 1 1/2 oz. Vodka
- 1/2 oz. St. Germaine Elderflower liqueur
- 1/2 oz. Allspice Dram
- 1 oz. Alcomy Holly Berry mix
- 3/4 oz. Lemon juice
- 1 bsp Cranberry relish
- 1/2 mandarin orange
- 3 sprigs Rosemary
Directions:
Add all ingredients to a mixing tin and gently muddle the rosemary for about 20 seconds, then add ice. Shake vigorously for another 20 seconds, and double-strain contents into a coupe glass. Garnish with a cranberry flag and fresh rosemary.

“White Christmas”
- 1 1/2 oz. Vanilla Vodka
- 1 oz. Godiva White Chocolate liqueur
- 1 oz. Peppermint schnapps
- 1 oz. White Mocha cream
- Crushed Candy Canes
Directions:
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously for about 30 seconds until fully emulsified and frothy. Strain into a coupe or martini glass and garnish the rim of the glass with crushed candy canes and peppermint bark.

If you can’t stand the heat, don’t get in the kitchen with Brett Butler, mixologist! That’s because today he made a Smoked Maple Old Fashioned that went perfectly with our Maxine’s Chicken & Waffles!
He also made a Prohibition-era inspired cocktail, called the “Mary Pickford,” in celebration of the Roaring 20’s and “Gatsby” glam era.
“Smoked Maple Old Fashioned” – a Fall bourbon classic with maple, fig and cinnamon

Ingredients:
- 3 oz. Bourbon
- .75 oz. Alcomy Old Fashioned mix
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 2 dashes Orange bitters
Directions:
Add all ingredients to a mixing tin or Old Fashioned cocktail mixing glass, with ice. Stir for about 20 seconds. Smoke the inside of an Old Fashioned rocks glass, and strain contents into the glass with an extra large ice cube. Garnish with an orange swath and Luxardo cherry.
“Mary Pickford” – a Prohibition-era classic with rum, pineapple, maraschino liqueur and housemade grenadine.

Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Rum
- 2 oz. Pineapple juice
- 1 bsp Luxardo maraschino liqueur
- 2 bsp Housemade grenadine
Directions:
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously for about 30 seconds until fully emulsified and frothy. Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with a maraschino cherry. Cheers ol’ sport!

A spicy watermelon mojito with fresh watermelon, cucumber-infused rum, jalapeno, lime and mint. (Inspired by Lana del Rey’s cover of Sublime’s “Doin’ Time”)
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Cucumber-infused Rum
- 1 oz. Jalapeno simple syrup
- 1/2 oz. Aloe Juice
- 3/4 oz. Lime Juice
- 2-3 Sprigs Fresh Mint
- dash Himalayan Pink Salt
- splash Sparkling Watermelon Juice or Seltzer
Directions:
- Shake ingredients together
- Garnish with a bruleed watermelon sword and fresh mint
(One Last) Summer Thyme Fling:

A luscious ode to Summer, with Gray Whale Gin, strawberries, rhubarb, elderflower, lemon and fresh thyme
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Gray Whale Gin
- 1 oz. Rhubarb Simple Syrup
- 1/2 oz. St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur
- 3/4 oz. Lemon Juice
- 3-4 Fresh strawberries
- 3 Sprigs fresh thyme
- 1 bsp Pineapple White Balsamic
Directions:
- Shake ingredients together
- Garnish with a fresh sprig of thyme and strawberry

Mixologist Brett Butler of Alcomy LLC concocted two unique drinks today on Indy Style! The first one is a Honeydew Mule mocktail, but alcohol can be added if desired. The second drink is a Drogon’s Wrath margarita inspired by “Game of Thrones!” These two drinks combine exciting flavors with innovative presentation – perfect for end-of-summer parties.
Here are the recipes:

“Honeydew Mule” a refreshing mix of honeydew, kiwi, lemongrass, ginger, basil and mint, and no alcohol
- 3 cups Honeydew, chopped
- 4 whole Kiwi, sliced or chopped
- 1/2 cup Alcomy Honey Ginger Lemongrass Elixir
- 1 cup Aloe H2O
- 1/2 cup Lime Juice, fresh squeezed
- 1/4 cup Basil
- 1/4 cup Mint
Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor and blend for 20 seconds. Strain through a fine mesh strainer or cheese cloth. Add 4 oz. to a Collins or Old Fashioned glass with ice. Top with ginger beer and squeeze of lime. Garnish with fresh honeydew segments and mint. Makes 4-6 servings.
“Drogon’s Wrath,” a fiery, passionate Margarita inspired by “Game of Thrones.”

- 1 oz. Milagro Tequila
- 3/4 oz. Triple Sec
- 3/4 oz. Passoa Passion Fruit Liqueur
- 1 1/2 oz. Fresh sour mix
- 1 oz. Agave Nectar
- 4-5 segs Fresh Dragon fruit
- 2-3 Large Basil leaves
- Pinch Black peppercorn
Muddle Dragonfruit, Basil, Agave and Sour Mix in a cocktail shaker. Add ice and the rest of the ingredients. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Double-strain over ice in a large Collins or Old Fashioned glass. Garnish with fresh Basil and an inverted spent lime wheel. Add 1 oz. Mezcal to the lime wheel and light on fire. Dunk it in the drink to douse the fire and mix the Mezcal into the drink. (Keep fire extinguisher nearby in case passion ignites! : )
