Meteorologist Tara Hastings is the very definition of a "sandwich generation" member. At 41, she became a joyful, new mom. Her baby daughter is the light of her life. Now, though, she is also the caregiver for her father who is suffering from early-onset Alzheimer's Disease. In a candid conversation with George Mallet, Tara talks about the rapture of becoming a mother and the challenges of being a new mother at the same time as being the primary caregiver for a patient with Alzheimer's Disease.
