This morning, more than 150 volunteers from the Indianapolis Colts and their community partners helped build a new playground for Sankofa School of Success #99.

You don’t have to wait until after work to get your workout in! Firefighter Tim joined us today to share 15 great exercises that can easily be done in the office. He says getting up and getting some good movement in throughout your work day can help both your physical and mental health.

The (air) pressure was on today as Rick Crosslin, scientist in residence for MSD Wayne Township, joined us with a few experiments to demonstrate how air pressure in Earth’s atmosphere works.

Amber went to the State Fair to get a look at the process of sheep being sheared, and you can do the same by visiting the Blue Ribbon Pavilion at the Indiana State Fair.

In addition to having sheep throughout the Fair, you are also able to catch sheep shearing demonstrations in this building. The Indiana State Fair is also proud to be home to the National Shetland Show and Conference.

The dairy goats will be showcased the final weekend of the fair in this building. They anticipate nearly 1,300 dairy goat entries.

The popular Sheep to Shawl contest where you can see how wool is made into usable goods will take place on the performance stage in the Indiana Arts Building.

The band Pavel Polanco-Safadit and Direct Contact, known for its energetic, fiery performances, just released its fourth studio album, “Día Bonito,” this summer. 

Tom Alverez, theater critic and Dustin Klein, musician, joined us today to share more about this new show that also gives Tom the chance to honor his heritage.
