Karma Decker is a professional chocolatier and owner of Karma in the Kitchen, a chocolate shop located just north of Cincinnati, Ohio. Decker opened the shop three years ago, but she has had an online store for over 10 years! We spoke to Decker in honor of International Chocolate Day on September 13.
For Decker, making chocolate runs in the family, as her mother made chocolates in their home kitchen growing up.
As far as the sweet treats themselves, Decker showed us a colorful caramel, and even gave us a sneak peak into how the chocolates are made.
You can find more information about Karma in the Kitchen here.
These salads are full of fruits, vegetables, and a touch of chocolate to top them off. Jessica Halstead, head chef at SoChatti joined us today with recipes for a White Peach Caprese Salad and a Spinach, Strawberry and Feta salad. They were both topped with a Chocolate Balsamic Dressing.
She also showed us how you can make your own charcuterie board and no-churn ice cream using their fruit nectar products.
