We are determined to savor those Fall flavors as we get closer to Thanksgiving! Brett Butler, mixologist and owner of Alcomy LLC., made two fall cocktails that are perfect for the holiday season!
“Cider House Rules”
This is a spiced apple cider cocktail with Caribbean rum, allspice, apple cider jam, lemon and rosemary.

Ingredients:
- 1 oz. Kraken Black Spiced Rum
- 1 oz. Plantation 5 Year Rum
- 1/2 oz. Allspice Dram
- 1 oz. Apple-Cinnamon Tea- Brown Sugar simple syrup
- 3/4 oz. Lemon juice
- 1 bsp Apple Cider Jam
- 2 sprigs Rosemary
Directions:
Add all ingredients to a mixing tin and gently muddle the rosemary for about 20 seconds, then add ice. Shake vigorously for another 20 seconds, and double-strain contents into a coupe glass. Garnish with a dehydrated apple slice and Fall maple leaf.
“Maple Milk Punch”
This is a centuries-old classic with Fall flavors like maple bourbon, apple brandy, walnut liqueur, milk and nutmeg.

Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 oz. Knob Creek Smoked Maple Bourbon
- 1/2 oz. Laird’s Applejack Brandy
- 1/2 oz. Walnut liqueur
- 2 oz. Apple Jacks Cereal Milk
- 3/4 oz. Alcomy Old Fashioned mix
Directions:
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously for about 30 seconds until fully emulsified and frothy. Strain into a double old fashioned glass and garnish with fresh nutmeg and whole star anise.

If you can’t stand the heat, don’t get in the kitchen with Brett Butler, mixologist! That’s because today he made a Smoked Maple Old Fashioned that went perfectly with our Maxine’s Chicken & Waffles!
He also made a Prohibition-era inspired cocktail, called the “Mary Pickford,” in celebration of the Roaring 20’s and “Gatsby” glam era.
“Smoked Maple Old Fashioned” – a Fall bourbon classic with maple, fig and cinnamon

Ingredients:
- 3 oz. Bourbon
- .75 oz. Alcomy Old Fashioned mix
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 2 dashes Orange bitters
Directions:
Add all ingredients to a mixing tin or Old Fashioned cocktail mixing glass, with ice. Stir for about 20 seconds. Smoke the inside of an Old Fashioned rocks glass, and strain contents into the glass with an extra large ice cube. Garnish with an orange swath and Luxardo cherry.
“Mary Pickford” – a Prohibition-era classic with rum, pineapple, maraschino liqueur and housemade grenadine.

Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Rum
- 2 oz. Pineapple juice
- 1 bsp Luxardo maraschino liqueur
- 2 bsp Housemade grenadine
Directions:
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously for about 30 seconds until fully emulsified and frothy. Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with a maraschino cherry. Cheers ol’ sport!

A spicy watermelon mojito with fresh watermelon, cucumber-infused rum, jalapeno, lime and mint. (Inspired by Lana del Rey’s cover of Sublime’s “Doin’ Time”)
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Cucumber-infused Rum
- 1 oz. Jalapeno simple syrup
- 1/2 oz. Aloe Juice
- 3/4 oz. Lime Juice
- 2-3 Sprigs Fresh Mint
- dash Himalayan Pink Salt
- splash Sparkling Watermelon Juice or Seltzer
Directions:
- Shake ingredients together
- Garnish with a bruleed watermelon sword and fresh mint
(One Last) Summer Thyme Fling:

A luscious ode to Summer, with Gray Whale Gin, strawberries, rhubarb, elderflower, lemon and fresh thyme
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Gray Whale Gin
- 1 oz. Rhubarb Simple Syrup
- 1/2 oz. St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur
- 3/4 oz. Lemon Juice
- 3-4 Fresh strawberries
- 3 Sprigs fresh thyme
- 1 bsp Pineapple White Balsamic
Directions:
- Shake ingredients together
- Garnish with a fresh sprig of thyme and strawberry

Mixologist Brett Butler of Alcomy LLC concocted two unique drinks today on Indy Style! The first one is a Honeydew Mule mocktail, but alcohol can be added if desired. The second drink is a Drogon’s Wrath margarita inspired by “Game of Thrones!” These two drinks combine exciting flavors with innovative presentation – perfect for end-of-summer parties.
Here are the recipes:

“Honeydew Mule” a refreshing mix of honeydew, kiwi, lemongrass, ginger, basil and mint, and no alcohol
- 3 cups Honeydew, chopped
- 4 whole Kiwi, sliced or chopped
- 1/2 cup Alcomy Honey Ginger Lemongrass Elixir
- 1 cup Aloe H2O
- 1/2 cup Lime Juice, fresh squeezed
- 1/4 cup Basil
- 1/4 cup Mint
Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor and blend for 20 seconds. Strain through a fine mesh strainer or cheese cloth. Add 4 oz. to a Collins or Old Fashioned glass with ice. Top with ginger beer and squeeze of lime. Garnish with fresh honeydew segments and mint. Makes 4-6 servings.
“Drogon’s Wrath,” a fiery, passionate Margarita inspired by “Game of Thrones.”

- 1 oz. Milagro Tequila
- 3/4 oz. Triple Sec
- 3/4 oz. Passoa Passion Fruit Liqueur
- 1 1/2 oz. Fresh sour mix
- 1 oz. Agave Nectar
- 4-5 segs Fresh Dragon fruit
- 2-3 Large Basil leaves
- Pinch Black peppercorn
Muddle Dragonfruit, Basil, Agave and Sour Mix in a cocktail shaker. Add ice and the rest of the ingredients. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Double-strain over ice in a large Collins or Old Fashioned glass. Garnish with fresh Basil and an inverted spent lime wheel. Add 1 oz. Mezcal to the lime wheel and light on fire. Dunk it in the drink to douse the fire and mix the Mezcal into the drink. (Keep fire extinguisher nearby in case passion ignites! : )

Today on Indy Style, Brett Butler, mixologist for Alcomy brought to life two delicious and beautiful cocktails!
He made a Kombucha cocktail called, “Circle of Life” and a Spicy Palomahow called, “La Paloma.”
“Circle of Life” is a probiotic of Vodka, Pear liqueur, honey-ginger-lemongrass elixir, lemon juice and Circle Mango Turmeric Kombucha.
Then, “La Paloma” is Mexico’s national aperitif, a refreshing, spicy kick with Mezcal, Pamplemousse grapefruit liqueur, lime, agave and fresh basil.
“Circle of Life”
- 2 oz. Vodka
- .5 oz. Pear Liqueur
- .5 oz. Lemon juice
- 1 oz. Alcomy Honey Ginger Lemongrass elixir
- Top with Circle Mango Turmeric Kombucha and garnish with a lemon twist

“La Paloma”
- 2 oz. Mezcal
- .75 oz. Pamplemousse Grapefruit Liqueur
- .5 oz. Lime juice
- 2 pinches Himalayan Pink Salt
- 4 drops Bittermen’s Hellfire Habanero Shrub (2 slices of fresh habanero or jalapenos can substitute)
- 2-3 Basil leaves
- Top with Squirt or Fresca and garnish with bruleed grapefruit segments and basil leaf

Ingredients:
- 2 oz Jeptha Creed Honey Flavored Vodka
- 2 oz Grapefruit Juice
- 1 oz Simple Syrup
- 1/2 oz Lime Juice
- Soda Water
Prep:
- Add all of the ingredients into a shaker tin.
- Add ice to shaker tin and shake vigorously.
- Strained over ice into a pint glass and topped with soda water.

Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Jeptha Creed Blackberry Moonshine
- 1/2 oz. Lemon Juice
- 1/2 oz. Rosemary Syrup
- Prosecco
Prep:
- Add Jeptha Creed Blackberry Moonshine, Lemon Juice, and Rosemary Syrup to shaker
- Add ice to shaker
- Shake until outside is cold with condensation
- Strain contents of shaker into coupe glass
- Top with Prosecco
- Garnish with Rosemary

Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Jeptha Creed Coffee Flavored Vodka
- 1/2 oz. Pumpkin Puree’
- 1/2 oz. Brown Sugar Cinnamon Syrup

- 1 oz Bourbon Cream or Half & Half
Prep:
- Place all ingredients in a shaker
- Add ice to shaker
- Shake until outside is cold with condensation

Inconceivable! — High Proof Bourbon Manhattan infused with mysterious smoking process
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Jeptha Creed 4 Grain Straight Bourbon
- 1/2 oz. Sweet Vermouth
- 2 Dashes of Ne Oueblie Walnut Bitters
Luxardo Cherries
Prep:
- Add Jeptha Creed 4 Grain Straight Bourbon
- Vermouth and Bitters to a large mixing glass with ice
- Stir to a chill then strain over ice
- Cold smoke infusion for approximately one-minute in serving glass
- Garnish with cherry

We’re celebrating National Chocolate Day with the fun and energetic, Anthony Bohlinger, Fistful of Bourbon Brand Ambassador. He shows us how to create delicious chocolate cocktails.

Recipes:
Chocolate Julep
- 2 parts Fistful of Bourbon
- ¼ part Simple Syrup
- 4 dashes Chocolate Bitters
- 8 mint leaves
To make: Break mint in half and add all ingredients into a julep glass or rocks glass. Fill with crushed ice and swizzle. Top off with ice and garnish with grated chocolate and a mint bouquet.
High Noon Float
- 1 part Fistful of Bourbon
- 2 scoops of Chocolate Ice Cream
- 1 can Root Beer
To make: Add ice cream and Fistful of Bourbon in a tall glass. Fill halfway with root beer. Let soda settle and top with remaining soda. Garish with chocolate sprinkles.
