INDIANAPOLIS (WISH)– The Hot Room Yoga studio has reopened its doors for members and newcomers to “sweat, stretch and transform” all while following new COVID-19 safety protocols.

When businesses shutdown due to the pandemic, the studio shifted to virtual classes. The Hot Room’s downtown studio manager, Libby Baert, says describes what it meant to welcome students back inside.

“There’s nothing better than seeing everybody come back through the doors,” Baert said. “We created a huge impact in this building that has created a huge impact.”

She says at their studio, hot yoga doesn’t just come with high temperatures and stretching. In some classes, they add weights and resistance bands to give students an intense workout.

“You’re going to get an awesome workout and you’re going to feel the best you have in a long time,” Baert said.

The yoga studio gained so much buzz in the central Indiana communities, they were able to open up a brand new location in Fishers.
