WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – Two more people have come forward saying money has been stolen from their accounts that could be connected to the alleged credit card skimming at the McDonald’s on Sagamore Parkway in West Lafayette.
On Friday, police arrested employee Mekeisha Roberts, 24, and accused her of using a skimmer to steal customer credit card numbers at the drive-thru window.
Eight victims were initially tied to the case.
Police are still investigating if the new reports are connected to the previous investigation.
Police have asked everyone who has used a card at the location to check their accounts for unusual activity.
