Crime Stoppers hosts recycling, shredding event
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Identity theft is a quickly growing problem.
Shredding personal documents before discarding is a great way to keep from having your identity stolen.
Steve Dubois, the director of Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana, stopped by the studio to talk about the annual Community Shred-It Day.
He also talks about what documents people should shred before throwing out and other ways to protect personal identity.
A donation of $5 was requested for each bankers sized box or equivalent. All proceeds benefited Crime Stoppers.
