IMPD: Woman found dead at vacant medical building
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is investigating after a woman was found dead Wednesday at a northwest side medical building.
Police say the woman was found just after 1:30 a.m. Wednesday inside the vacant building at 3830 Shore Drive. That’s near West 38th Street and I-465.
She was pronounced dead on the scene, and her death was ruled a homicide.
The woman was later identified as Dawn McCutcheon, 44.
The Marion County Coroner’s Office said that her cause of death was multiple traumatic injuries.
No suspect information has been made available.
