Teenager critically injured shooting on east side

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A teenager is in critical condition and a man was hurt in a shooting at an apartment complex on the east side, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

Police said the two got into a fight around 11:45 p.m. inside a unit at the Wellington Village Apartments.

IMPD said someone eventually fired shots in the parking lot.

Medics took the man to the hospital. However, his condition was not given other than to say he was stable.

Police said they found the teen had been shot multiple times. The teen was taken to Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health in critical condition.
