Donnelly, Klobuchar campaign for Clinton

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Hillary Clinton spent the day campaigning in eastern Kentucky after a rally Sunday in Indianapolis.

Her campaign relied on two surrogates to energize Hoosier voters Monday.

Sen. Joe Donnelly, D-IN, was joined by Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-MN, for stops on behalf of Clinton in Terre Haute and Indy.

The two praised Clinton’s time in the U.S. Senate, saying she worked hard for families, understands agricultural issues and has a plan to help states like Indiana combat opiate drug problems.

Klobuchar’s name has been previously tossed around as a potential vice presidential candidate or Supreme Court nominee.

When asked about future aspirations, she said she is happy representing Minnesota.
