Eat a Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich, it’s National PB&J Day
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Some sandwiches are so special they deserve their own day.
That’s that’s the case with national favorite, peanut butter and jelly.
Saturday, April 2nd is National Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich Day.
The popular sandwich was actually considered a delicacy in the early 1900s in New York City. However, magazines soon started encouraging people to make the sandwich themselves and recipes were then published.
The average American will consume more than 2,000 delicious PB&J sandwiches by high school graduation.
