Investigation leads to drug arrests of 2 Indy men in Bartholomew Co.
BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – Two Indianapolis men were arrested in Bartholomew County after a two-month-long investigation on Thursday, Dec.1.
According to Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office, 29-year-old James Cantrell and 29-year-old Johnny Flaugher, both of Indianapolis, were taken into custody.
Deputies said the arrests of Cantrell and Flaugher are the result of an investigation conducted by the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office, the Columbus Police Department and the Bartholomew County Prosecutor’s Office into illegal drug sales in Bartholomew County.
At the time of his arrest, Cantrell was found to be in possession of both meth and heroin. Both men were apprehended without incident.
Cantrell faces four preliminary charges, two for dealing methamphetamine and two for dealing heroin. Flaugher faces a preliminary charge of dealing methamphetamine.
Both were transported to the Bartholomew County Jail.
