Gleaners Food Banks seeks donations during holiday season

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Gleaners Food Bank is looking for donations to help feed people across central Indiana.

Customers can drop in at Georgetown Market, 4375 Georgetown Rd, and place their donations in a box.

Organizers hope Hoosiers can step up when many people need it most.

“Being a local small business in Indianapolis, it’s important to us,” said Sam Kennedy with Georgetown Market. “So it’s a great way to help out the community, raise up the community, it’s super important to the city in general.”

The drive will run until Dec. 31.
