PopCon organizers call event major success amid pandemic
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH)– PopCon, a celebration of all things pop culture at the Indiana Convention Center, is coming to an end Sunday.
This is the event’s eighth year.
This year’s festivities started on Friday with a new international film festival and more than 20 guest celebrities including famous voice actors and YouTube sensations.
PopCon’s true mission is to give creators of all kinds a platform to find new audiences.
It’s been a family-friendly event with interactive areas throughout like laser tag, board and video games, a virtual reality arcade and more. There’s also more than 2,000 square feet of Lego displays.
The final day of PopCon runs from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
