‘Gr8 Comeback’: Carmel Market District Chef’s Case
CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) — Inside the Carmel Market District grocery store is a team of chefs and culinary professionals who can turn fresh ingredients into a meal fit for one or an entire family.
Food and Beverage Director Rick Hopkins says the “Chef’s Case” became an even bigger focus in the store when the COVID-19 pandemic forced them to make some adjustments to the scope on their services.
“We obviously had to modify how we take care of those guests looking for their daily meals,” Hopkins said. “Whether it be lunch or dinner, that same quality that went into our daily restaurant is right here in our Chef’s Case. Good food made fresh daily, with raw ingredients, by people that know how to cook.”
For those looking to pull off a last-minute holiday feast, Hopkins invites you to take your pick from their holiday offerings menu and let his chefs do the cooking.
“You can take care of those eaters in your family who will eat whatever you put in front of them or the very picky eaters that [want] something special,” he said.
“We’re here for you. If you need that extra help [and] need something quick or being surprised by somebody that’s joining [you] for the holidays, we probably got you covered there too.”
