2 juveniles detained in connection to arson investigation
VINCENNES, Ind. (WTHI) – Officials report two juveniles have been detained in connection with an arson investigation in Vincennes.
The fire was on June 14 at a home located on 11th Street in Vincennes.
“Our investigator, along with the Indiana State Fire Marshals Office (ISFM) have worked tirelessly and around the clock since the fire early Tuesday morning following up on numerous leads given to us from the public – which were all greatly appreciated!” Vincennes Fire Chief, Sonny Pinkstaff, stated in a release.
The two juveniles could faces charges, including arson causing serious bodily injury and arson of another’s property.
Pinkstaff also reported the firefighter who was injured while working the fire on June 14 has undergone surgery and released.
