’24 Hours of Booty’ raising money for cancer survivors
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — For the fourth year in a row people will hop on their bikes for a special fundraiser that lasts 24-hours.
Cindi Hart, a two-time cancer survivor who is also passionate about cycling stopped by 24-Hour News 8 to share more about the event.
She said the non-competitive bicycling event for people of all ages and abilities will take place at Butler University on Friday at 7 p.m. till Saturday at 7 p.m.
The ride will benefit the IU Simon Cancer Center and Livestrong Foundation. Organizers say they hope to raise more than $200,000 for cancer survivorship and navigation programs.
