Brownsburg business owners create scavenger hunt to help downtown Indy

BROWNSBURG, Ind. (WISH) — The owners of Hoosier Warrior Coffee in Brownsburg have answered the call to serve.

This time, the military family who owns the business will help fellow business owners during the coronavirus pandemic. The team created a small-business scavenger hunt with a goal to get more people to visit downtown Indianapolis.

It didn’t take long for businesses all across central Indiana to ask to be involved.

“They need help, we all need help and this just gives people something to do and a chance to visit businesses they’ve never visited and give back to the community,” said marketing director Natalie Corvin.

Every Sunday morning and evening clues will be made available online. Those clues will direct people to businesses. You can also win prizes for participating. Hoosier Warrior is giving away a five pound bag of coffee and $500 cash. Several other businesses will also have giveaways.

Owner Alan Driver Jr. said he has faith in Hoosier hospitality.  “It’s not the same city and I know we can bring it back,” he said.

Driver started the business with his best friend from high school, who was also in the military.
