1 critically injured in shooting on near east side
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – One person is in critical condition after a shooting on the city’s east side, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
Just after 1:15 p.m., officers were called to the 2400 block of Martin Luther Lane for a report of a person shot.
After arriving on the scene, police located a victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
IMPD said the victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
No suspect or victim information has been released.
