27-year-old man shot, killed on east side

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A 27-year-old man died after a shooting on the east side Monday morning, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
Police were called to the 1300 block of Riley Place for a report of a person shot just before 10:30 a.m.
After arriving on the scene, police found Darryl Cole. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Police later said Cole died as a result of his injuries.
No victim or possible suspect information has been released.
