Man dies after shooting at west side apartment complex

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A man was fatally shot at a west side apartment complex on the city’s west side Saturday evening, police said.
Just before 6 p.m., officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to the 5400 block of Pleasant Hill Circle on reports of a person shot.
Upon arrival, officers found a man with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound.
The victim was later identified as 42-year-old Jeffrey Herald.
