INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The holiday season is a special time of year.

It’s a season filled with family, delicious food and traditions.

Some of those traditions often include crowding around the TV to view a favorite Christmas movie such as “It’s a Wonderful Life,” “Elf,” “Christmas Vacation” and “Die Hard.”

While most of these films are about reconciliation and spending more time with family, can they teach us anything about finances around the holidays?

Casey Marx with Crown Haven Wealth Advisors stopped by Daybreak to tell us what, if anything, or favorite Christmas flicks can teach us about finances.
