IMPD officer sentenced in second DUI
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – An Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) officer received a two year sentence Monday for his second DUI.
Allen Johnson’s license has been suspended for a year, and he will be placed on a home electronic monitoring device.
He will have to serve 10 days in the Indiana Department of Corrections and 235 days with Hamilton County Community Corrections.
He will serve 485 days on probation and will undergo substance abuse evaluation.
Johnson has been arrested for drunken driving twice since 2012.
