Indiana National Guard conducts flyover salute in support of frontline workers
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indiana National Guard’s 122nd Fighter Wing saluted frontline workers with a flyover event Saturday.
The flyover was a show of support to Indiana health care workers, first reponders, military members and other essential workers who are on the front lines of the fight against COVID-19.
The airmen flew over multiple locations as Hoosiers gathered outside of hospitals to bear witness.
Multiple locations experienced the event, including:
- Downtown Terre Haute
- Johnson Armory near Franklin
- Community Hospital in Indianapolis
- St. Vincent hospital in Carmel
- VA/IU hospital in Indianapolis
- Lawrence Armory near Lawrence
- Downtown Anderson
- Downtown Muncie
- Marion VA hospital in Marion
