Two 13-year-old girls arrested after alleged hit list shared on social media

LAKEVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — Two St. Joseph County teenagers were arrested Friday after threats toward students at their high school began circulating on social media, Indiana State Police said.

Around noon Friday, LaVille Jr./Sr. High School officials were alerted to a list of names circulating on social media. The students named on the list were those whom two female students planned to harm at a school dance.

ISP did not specify the kind of harm that was being threatened, but both 13-year-olds face preliminary charges of conspiracy to commit murder and intimidation.

The two juveniles were taken to the Thomas N. Frederick Juvenile Justice Center, ISP said.
