Indianapolis man sentenced for child molesting
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — An Indianapolis man was sentenced this week after pleading guilty to child molesting.
Kevin Fisher, 45, was serving jail time for an unrelated sex crime in January when a young boy told police Fisher held him down and forced him to participate in sex acts, according to 24-Hour News 8 partner The Greenfield Reporter.
Fisher was charged with 22 counts related to child sex abuse, including child molesting, vicarious sexual gratification and performing sexual conduct in the presence of a minor, but all but one charge were eventually dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
He was sentenced to a year in jail followed by three years on probation.
A plea agreement meant the case would not go to trial and the young boy would be spared from testifying. Court documents state the boy suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder, often hallucinating and yelling at imaginary people.
