IndyCar’s Hinchcliffe inducted into Red Cross Hall of Fame

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – IndyCar driver James Hinchcliffe had a special moment Wednesday.

He was surprised by a pair of donors whose blood gave him a second chance at life after a horrific crash in 2015. The moment came during a ceremony to induct Hinchcliffe into the Red Cross Hall of Fame.

The Red Cross said it inducted Hinchcliffe into the hall of fame for his remarkable contributions hosting blood drives across the country and increasing awareness about the importance of blood donations.
