AM General awarded $7M army contract

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (Inside INdiana Business) – The U.S. Department of Defense has awarded a more than $7 million contract to South Bend-based AM General LLC. The five-year contract calls for the production of Humvee diesel engine cylinder heads for the U.S. Army.
The DoD says the work will be performed in Indiana. The contract calls for the work to be completed by August 30, 2025.
The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime in Warren, Michigan.
