TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (Inside INdiana Business) — Launch Terre Haute has announced a new partnership with the Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce. The nonprofit coworking space says the consolidation will create new opportunities for both organizations, including expanded benefits for entrepreneurs.

Chamber President Kristin Craig says having the ability to share resources will help each organization advance its respective mission and goals.

“Launch is a great asset to business and entrepreneurs; we look forward to continuing the work that has already been done,” Craig said in a news release. “The need to consolidate our community’s business development resources and create a ‘business hub’ of sorts was clearly identified in the See You in Terre Haute 2025 Community Plan, released last year. This effort goes a long way in helping our community achieve that goal.”

Craig says the chamber is looking to create a new version of Launch Terre Haute that is a true support system for all types of business entrepreneurship in the community.

“The new programming will continue very much with the existing mission of Launch. Our goal is to take the successes of Launch…and elevate, provide greater access to entrepreneurial-type programming, expand our reach with students, and, most importantly, create a user-friendly, supportive, clean and healthy cowork space that anyone can utilize.”

Launch Terre Haute says executive director Shelley Klingerman is moving away from the coworking space to transition to her new role as co-founder of the new venture studio, NEXT Studios.

“Shelley has been a wonderful resource and advocate for Launch, we are extremely grateful for her guidance and partnership during this transition,” Craig said. “We thank Shelley for all the work she has done over the years to make Launch what it is today and wish her well as she continues her career.”
