IU football player sentenced to community service
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WISH) – A suspended Indiana University football player arrested for a drunken incident was sentenced to community service and probation.
Ralph Green III was arrested in April after police say he slapped a woman who refused to dance with him. At the time, he registered a .20 percent blood-alcohol level on a portable breath test.
Green was ordered by a Monroe County court to pay court costs, complete 50 hours of community service and serve one year of probation. His jail bond was directed to an alcohol/drug program fee.
After the arrest, IU suspended Green. It’s unclear if he’ll face any other disciplinary action.
