Lawrence police searching for 2 armed robbery suspects
LAWRENCE, Ind. (WISH) – Lawrence police are searching for two suspects from an armed robbery Wednesday.
The suspects, armed with handguns, entered the Kemba Credit Union on 5625 Sunnyside Road in Lawrence.
According to the release, they demanded money from the staff. After the money was handed over, the suspects left the credit union in a stolen vehicle from earlier that morning.
The vehicle has been recovered.
Police believe, because the same methods were used, that the suspects are the same from a robbery that happened at the Kemba Credit Union earlier this month.
The suspects are described as both males, mid-20s, wearing completely dark clothing, masks and hoods. One suspect wore a blue hooded sweatshirt with a black mask, the other wore all black with a white mask.
Anyone with information about these suspects are asked to call Crimestoppers at (317) 262-8477.
