Lebanon standoff ends peacefully

LEBANON,Ind. (WISH) – Dispatch received a call just after 10 p.m. Saturday night about an undetermined number of shots coming from a residence in the 1200 block of Helena Drive.

SWAT arrived on scene several minutes later and found an intoxicated individual had barricaded himself inside the house.

According to police, authorities called the suspect in the house and were able to stay in constant communication throughout the ordeal.

The standoff ended peacefully as the suspect exited the house without incident and gave himself up several hours later.
