IMPD investigating fatal crash on east side; 1 in custody

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Police are investigating a crash on the east side of Indianapolis.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department was called 4200 N. Post Road around 5:45 a.m.
News 8’s Kevin Ratermann reports that the intersection at 42nd Street and Post Road is blocked.
One person has been detained by police and will have to submit a blood draw.
No other information has been released.
