IU police investigating after report of rape on campus
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WISH) – Police are investigating after a reported rape on IU Bloomington’s campus.
According to Indiana University police, around 8 p.m. Saturday night, a male student was approached by another man outside Eigenmann Hall, struck in the head and then sexually assaulted.
The victim did not want to make a report to the police, but someone who knew the victim told the Indiana University Police Department and officers began a search for the suspect.
IUPD says there’s not an imminent threat to other students.
