Overnight hit-and-run on Indy’s northwest side injures 1

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis police are investigating an overnight hit-and-run on the city’s northwest side.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers found one person unresponsive just before 3 a.m. Thursday near the intersection of 38th Street and Moller Road.

Officers at the scene told News 8 the victim was unconscious at a local hospital.

IMPD says the person hit was a male, but officers did not share his age.

Investigators have not released a description or any information about the vehicle involved. A police report says miscellaneous car parts were found at the scene.
