Police find woman dead at Greenfield monument business; no foul play suspected

GREENFIELD, Ind. (WISH) — A police officer on Tuesday morning found a 50-year-old woman dead at a monument business.

The woman was found about 9:35 p.m. at Greenfield Granite Co. Inc., 952 W. Main St. That’s at the intersection with South Franklin Street.

Police found no signs of foul play. They have no concerns about a danger to the public.

Police had been called to the business to assist a person.

In a news release, Capt. Michael Schwamberger of Greenfield police provided no additional information, including the woman’s name.
