Town of Speedway announces parking restrictions ahead of GMR Grand Prix

SPEEDWAY, Ind. (WISH) — The Speedway Police Department announced Monday that parking restrictions and road closures will go into effect later this week for the GMR Grand Prix taking place at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Saturday.

The race, taking place on Saturday, will have practices and qualifications scheduled for Friday. To see a full listing of closures, view the parking restrictions and road/street closure statements by Speedway Police.

Speedway Police also want to remind the community that if they plan to park cars in their yards, they ask people to ensure that parked cars do not extend onto the sidewalk.
