Missing 16-year-old Avon girl found safe
UPDATE: A statewide Silver Alert was canceled for a 16-year-old Avon girl after she was safely found.
AVON, Ind. (WISH) — A statewide Silver Alert has been issued for a 16-year-old girl missing from Avon.
Indiana State Police are searching for Christina Owen, 16, of Avon. She was last seen Wednesday around 2 p.m. Owen is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance, police say.
She is 5-feet-10-inches tall and weighs 190 pounds. She has brown hair and hazel eyes and she was last seen wearing dark-colored glasses, a grey hooded sweatshirt, black shorts and black tennis shoes.
