Man fatally shot on northwest side identified

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A 46-year-old man was shot and killed on the northwest side of Indianapolis on Saturday evening, according to police.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to the 5700 block of N. High School Road around 5:15 p.m.

Police say they found Ryan Goss of Indianapolis lying on the front porch shot at least once. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers searched the area for several hours but were unable to track down the suspect. A suspect description has not been released.
