(WISH) — An Ohio mother who is battling cancer recently received a heart-warming message from her daughter.

Marie Schambach loves her mother and took that message to a snow-covered lawn in Ohio recently.

Schambach, who is from Guatemala, told CNN she had never seen snow before. So when a few inches fell from the sky at the Cleveland Clinic she used it as a blank canvas to share her message of hope for her mom to see from her hospital window.

In the snow Schambach wrote “MOM BE BRAVE” below a ribbon drawing.

The message was meant to raise her mom’s spirits during her cancer treatment. Schambach hoped others would also see the message.

The Cleveland Clinic tweeted a photo of the message on Friday, prompting well wishes from others on Twitter.
