Mom’s warning after Santa Claus app reportedly tells son ‘I will kill you’

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) – So much for holiday spirit. 

One mom was shocked after discovering that the Santa Claus app downloaded on her son’s Kindle made it seem like good old St. Nick was threatening to kill her little boy.

In a Facebook post, mom Kersty Elizabeth Taylor warned other parents of the “Santa Call New 2018” app. 

Here’s how the app works. When you press the “call” button, the app dials Mr. Claus, then you’re greeted with a generic message: “Hello there. Can you hear me?” 

This is when things take a seemingly sinister turn. 

“In five nights if you’re free, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you,” the person on the other line allegedly says. 

The app was reportedly downloaded from the children’s section of Amazon’s app store.
