SACRAMENTO, Calif. (CNN) — A baby in Sacramento was born on leap day, but her birth is unique for other reasons than just the date itself.

Her dad was born on leap day as well, which nurses say is a two million to one chance.

The girl’s parents dressed her in “leap-frog attire” after her birth at Mercy San Juan Medical Center on Feb. 29.

A member of the medical staff said it’s the first time she’s seen this happen in 29 years.

The baby’s name is Camila and the nurses said they call all babies born on Feb. 29 “leapers.”
