No rain to close out the last weekend of September with 80s poised to return

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Good Saturday evening, everyone! We’ve seen a bit of sunshine to start the weekend, but a few clouds this afternoon have helped to hold temps in the mid to upper 60s in many areas.

This evening, clouds will clear a bit and temps will sink quickly.

We’ll drop into the 50s by midnight and tumble into the mid 50s by daybreak Sunday.

Expect some cloud cover to start the day Sunday, but outside of a few clouds, rain chances look to remain well north of the metro.

With no rain chances here in town, expect a beautiful morning for tailgating and an open roof for game time with the Texans coming to town!

High temps will top out in the upper 70s and low 80s tomorrow afternoon.

We’ll continue our dry streak into early next week with 80s set to make a comeback.

The 80s will stick around for the remainder of the 8-Day Forecast, so don’t hang the shorts up just yet!

Our next best chance for rain will return by Tuesday with minimal rain opportunities through the rest of the week.

The weather looks great, albeit toasty, through the latter half of next week for both high school football and the regular season home finale for the Indy Eleven. Stay cool!
