Officials investigate shooting on northeast side
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Police are investigating after a man was shot early Saturday on the northeast side.
It happened just after 1:30 a.m. in the 6900 block of East 42nd Street when police were responding to a shots fired run.
Police say a possible carjacking led to the shooting.
The male victim was transported to the hospital in an unknown condition.
The shooting remains under investigation.
