Orange downtown Indy canal celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — To celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month, the downtown canal was turned orange Thursday afternoon to honor the Latino-Hispanic community.
The effort also and notes the Latino-Hispanic community’s positive impact on the economy and culture in the state of Indiana.
Music, food and entertainment were part of the festivities.
National Hispanic Heritage Month runs Sept. 15 to Oct. 15.
