Pedestrian struck by vehicle on north side, transported to hospital
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A pedestrian was struck on the city’s north side early Saturday morning, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
The incident happened in the 800 block of West 30th Street before 2:45 a.m.
Police say the victim was transported to Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital. The victim is now said to be in stable condition.
Once thought to be a hit-and-run, IMPD says the driver involved in the incident did return to the scene and is being cooperative with investigators.
